The field station in Villefort is hosting researchers from all countries interested by all ecological aspects of the fauna and flora of the Mont Lozère (Cevennes National Park). Its offers living (up to 16 people) and laboratories facilities. Currently, this field station hosts people from several laboratories around the world interested in climate change effect of lizard populations.
