RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am an ecologist and modeler working as a Marie Curie Postdoc Fellow with Dr. Patrik Nosil at SETE and Dr. Ophélie Ronce and Dr. Emanuel Fronhofer at ISEM in Montpellier. My project concerns eco-evolutionary dynamics of spatially structured populations and communities. Specifically, I am exploring how species interactions and dispersal respond to habitat spatial structure and relate to spatiotemporal patterns of eco-evolutionary dynamics. I am originally from Japan and received a PhD at Umeå University, Sweden. I previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Finland and Sweden.
